We had been looking for a cat for quite a while but none seemed exactly right until we saw Meme on the Internet advertised by Jenny from Franklin Cat Rescue and went out to see her. She was just exactly right and came home with us. We had been told she was timid and she spent the first night under the bed hiding from us but ventured out at night and took a look around and discovered her litter box and water but didn't eat any of the food. Her history had made her scared and timid so we figured she needed time to adjust and get used to us and her new surroundings so we let her do her own thing and just spoke to her and made reassuring noises and she seemed to really enjoy chatting and in a couple of days we were surprised to see she started mewing and chatting back.
